You were invited to take steps to save lives during the 7th annual Good Karma 5K to raise money for COVID relief in India and essential programs of community-based nonprofits in the U.S., and you showed up in great numbers!
Individuals and teams from across the country ran, jogged, hiked or walked on trails, roads or tracks in a race that united us all in caring for our brothers and sisters in India and our neighbors in the U.S.
Seventy percent of the net proceeds are being used to purchase desperately needed ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and other emergency medical equipment and supplies for shipment to hospitals in India. The remaining funds are being invested in community-based nonprofits in the U.S. providing education, skill development, affordable housing, food and clothing for those in need.
