2024 Donor Appreciation Event
Music/Choir Ensemble Youth Registration

Namaste!

Youth are invited to participate in the AIM for Seva Fort Lauderdale Chapter 10th anniversary music/choir ensemble as part of our 2024 donor appreciation event. Participants will open the show before the main dance event. The event aims to raise awareness of the importance of educating underserved children in rural India.

  • Participant ages 7 – 21 years old.
  • No prior knowledge/training required.
  • Registered participants will receive a learning video link for the AIM for Seva theme song “Bharata Desha Hitaya.”
  • Virtual training via Google Meet will be conducted during summer holidays by Rishi Iyer: (952) 200-3014.
  • Those interested in joining instrumental support, please email details and level of your proficiency to vidya.aimforseva@gmail.com.
  • Student service hours will be given for participation.

AIM for Seva

AIM for Seva was born from the heart-led mission of founder Swami Dayananda Saraswati to address the obstacles faced by children of impoverished rural India in accessing quality education and health care. The concept of building chatralaya, or free student homes, in close proximity to schools took root, bringing value-based education right to their doorstep – and forming the foundation of our unique holistic model of care and support. Our chatralaya serve as a true home away from home in every sense, providing a loving, nurturing environment and a richly balanced life for children from grades 4 through 12.

Since 2000, AIM for Seva’s chatralaya, schools and hospitals have been making it possible for these children to develop into healthy, self-confident, responsible citizens – fully prepared for career and life.

Fort Lauderdale Chapter​​​

The Fort Lauderdale Chapter sponsors chatralaya for boys and girls, with a goal of funding the complete care for 100 children. Another important initiative is to raise the funds necessary nationwide to build much-needed new chatralaya to bring our holistic care and programming to a greater number of children in rural and tribal communities of India. Your gifts to the Fort Lauderdale Chapter will also help support the four AIM for Seva hospitals in offering free or subsidized care to rural populations.
