The All India Movement for Seva story was born from the heart-led mission of founder Swami Dayananda Saraswati to bring value-based education and quality health care to the children of impoverished rural India. A world-renowned spiritual leader and profound thinker, his selfless desire was for these children to have every opportunity to develop their full potential – and that of the nation. His innate spirit of service, deep insight, and visionary approach continue to set the tone and serve as the driving force for all that we do.

Our Core Principles

Our Belief
Value-based education and cultural validation build self-confidence. Only a self-confident individual can contribute to and participate in the nation-building process.

Our Vision
To transform society through a network of seva and caring; to bridge the urban-rural divide, empowering every person to contribute to the progress of the nation.

Our Mission
Empowerment through value-based education and reaching out to children of rural India through a network of chatralaya and schools.
Our Holistic Approach
Since 2000, our chatralaya, schools and hospitals have been making it possible for underprivileged children to develop into healthy, self-confident, responsible citizens. Our unique holistic model of care and service was founded on the deeply held beliefs that …
- Well-being is achieved by caring for the whole child.
- A loving environment, quality education, and health care are essential for realizing one’s potential.
- Reaching children during the most critical developmental years puts them on the path to lifelong success.
- Self-respect is developed from respecting the richness of one’s cultural roots.
