Shankar Pradeep Nair Sangeetha Archana

With the blessings of the Almighty and their elders, Aparna and Pradeep Nair are happy to share that their son, Shankar Pradeep Nair, disciple of Shri. Babu Parameswaran of the Keerthana School of Indian Music, California, will be presenting his Sangeetha Archana – debut Carnatic vocal concert on September 1, 2025.

This Sangeetha Archana marks a meaningful milestone in Shankar’s musical journey and is offered as a humble tribute to the divine and to the rich tradition of Indian classical Carnatic music.

As part of this celebration, the family requests that guests attending Shankar’s Sangeetha Archana refrain from bringing gifts. They request that well-wishers consider supporting a cause close to their hearts: AIM for Seva (All India Movement for Seva) – an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children across India through free education, lodging, health care, and vocational training.

The Nair family has chosen AIM for Seva because they believe deeply in the transformative power of education. Contributing to this cause means empowering underprivileged children in India with the opportunity to dream, learn, and build a better future.

With gratitude for the community’s blessings and support, the family hopes that this effort will bring both joy and lasting positive impact in the lives of the children concerned.

“I will be performing my Bharatanatyam Arangetram on July 13, 2024. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to AIM for Seva. I chose AIM for Seva because of my belief in the life-changing power of education. As a teenager, I have access to quality academics as well as the arts, and I am aware of the many girls and boys who don’t. AIM for Seva’s commitment to providing a value-based education by building free student hostels and schools resonated with me. Just $42 a month ($500 a year) will provide boarding, nutritious meals, education, clothing and uniforms, and health care for one student for a year.
